The 'Wobbly Duck' is one of the most famous pubs in all of Fel Dranghyr. Formerly known simply as 'The Duck' it was renamed by the present owner and landlord Arthur Pint 3 years ago in honour of a tale handed down to him by his grandfather........

Whilst out in the beer garden collecting glasses his grandfather had spied a young mallard drinking lager that had been spilt onto a tray. The lager in

question was the rather strong 'Old Wobbly

lager' which was brewed by some Monks in

the Monastary just down the road. A short

while later this poor young mallard was 

quite unsteady on it's feet due to the high

alcohol content of the lager. Albert loved

to hear the story of the poor young duck and on the very sad passing of his grandfather renamed the pub The 'Wobbly Duck' in his memory.
